Perspectives on Parkinson's Disease

The PD Podcast Education Center is dedicated to providing up-to-date information on Parkinson’s Disease to health care professionals, patients, and other interested individuals.

Each topic begins as a live teleconference with a recognized expert in the field. There are no restrictions about who can attend a teleconference, provided they register in advance. There are also no restrictions on who can submit questions for the teleconference.

Each teleconference begins with a 45 minute presentation, followed by a 15 minute question and answer period. It is recorded, and then made available as online video or for downloading as an mp3 audio. The online recordings are also available with no restrictions.

Health care professionals interested in receiving free CME credits can receive 1 credit per topic by:

  1. 1. Registering on PDCast.net
  2. 2. Attending a live teleconference, reviewing the recorded webinar presentation (online video), or listening to the mp3 audio recording
  3. 3. Completing any post-test and evaluations

Once you have claimed credit, you can print a certificate directly from this website. Please note that credit can only be claimed once for a topic, regardless of the media format. For example, a user cannot claim credit for both a webinar and a live teleconference of the same presentation.
